The challenge

Seeking to amplify their digital presence, TS decided that the first thing to do was to overhaul their website by giving the whole website a design refresh and integrating an ecommerce functionality. The previous version of the site was visually poor and not user friendly, so presented visitors with a poor user experience. This was highlighted with the low volumes of leads for business that came in through the website. The site had also not been continually updated, which mean content changes or security updates would often create errors or break the site.

Once their website was complete and fit for purpose, they also needed a thorough SEO strategy to generate traffic, leads, and of course, sales.

The solution

It was important that the website showcased their vast product line, made product finding efficient, and presented detailed specs. Our transformation included efficient GA4 setup, Google Search Console configuration, and correctly linking Google My Business.

TS's obsolete website was inefficient and disorganised, failing to generate any leads or sales. The website lacked a structured flow and its content organisation was unclear, leading to a suboptimal user experience. We produced a cleaner, more user-friendly site that effectively showcases and enables sales of their products. We sought to facilitate increased lead conversions, given that new leads often turned into repeat customers. Therefore, the main goal became to design a website that could better capture and convert leads, while improving the overall user experience and return on investment (ROI).

Recognising TS's existing ranking for certain search queries, we employed a robust SEO strategy to potentially elevate these search rankings. In the months since the site was launched we have undergone regular audits, and implemented ongoing SEO tweaks and updates in order to help the site perform at the best of its abilities and be highly visible online for their target audience(s).

The results

In the 9 months since the new TS website was launched and Google Analytics was effectively set up to track conversions, the benefits have been crystal clear. SEO executed by Relative Marketing has resulted in a 43% boost in organic traffic. Total traffic has also surged by 32% in this period. Average visit duration has shot up by 60%, signifying better visitor engagement on the site. Most impressively, the organic traffic has so far led to 14 ecommerce transactions, generating a revenue of approx. £11k.
