The background

Paul Reeves is a furniture and artefacts dealer specialising in rare British decorative arts. Passionate about his field and having lovingly collected rare and unique furniture and related items for over fifty years, he opened his first antique furniture store in Battersea Bridge Rd in 1976. Dealing mainly in objects and articles from the 19th and 20th centuries, including antique tables, chairs and cabinets, the business continues now from Paul’s Cirencester property, selling to private collectors and museums.

The challenge

Paul Reeves had an outdated site that they struggled to keep fresh and updated with their new products easily. They required a site that generated leads and enquiries for their niche product market. Within this project, they wanted to improve brand awareness of the company and become a market leader.

They wanted to emphasise the Paul Reeves brand and produce a platform that was easily updated.

The website would be used to generate leads through existing traditional methods and also introduce new digital methods, such as content marketing, social media and PR to help grow the business and build a larger recurring client base for the company.

Relative aimed to construct a website that serves as an authentic reflection of Paul himself. Packed with content that celebrates his unique personality, fundamental ethos, and core values, the site also epitomises the depth of Paul's antique knowledge. Providing content that contributes substantially towards establishing him as a respected industry leader.

Beginning with a blank canvas, our team meticulously constructed a site that proudly showcases Paul's spectacular array of exclusive products. Unlike the previous site, the revamped website excels in mobile optimisation, ensuring that every customer, regardless of device, is offered an exceptional browsing experience.

Additionally, integration with various social media platforms was put in place. It enhanced the connectivity, and substantially increased customer engagement by driving social traffic back to the website. With intuitive layouts and clear call-to-action (CTA) prompts, Paul's upgraded site now stands as a benchmark of contemporary, efficient, and user-driven design.

In essence, by overhauling his previous website and replacing it with a quick, clean, and easily navigable user experience, Paul was granted a versatile tool that could flourish in the modern digital age. As a result, both returning and potential customers are given an online experience that effortlessly marries ease, speed, and visual appeal with strategic online marketing tactics.

The results

Since the launch of Paul Reeves’ new site new users have increased by an impressive 117%, new sessions have increased by 140% and page views have increased by 114%.

There has also been an increase in Google search traffic to the website by 18%, up to 2,691 users. The latest images added last year to Google have generated over 19,000 views. And 4,500 people have found the website by organically searching for the products. Paul is now please hat he has successful digital footprint that reflects the passion and expertise he has in his field.
